The B. Renewed 4-Step Hair Care System was born from something deeply personal, my journey to rediscover my hair after my body went through major changes.

After experiencing iron deficiency, iron infusions, and perimenopause, my hair changed in ways I wasn’t prepared for. What used to work no longer worked. My strands became drier, thinner, and more fragile. On top of that, my texture shifted, leaving me feeling disconnected from the hair I once knew so well.

In an effort to “fix” it, I made a decision that might seem counterproductive. I relaxed my hair. I thought if my hair laid straighter, it would be easier to conceal the thinning and bald spots around my temples and crown. Instead, my hair became extremely dry and brittle. That moment forced me to face what my hair really needed.

So, I cut all of the relaxed hair off.

What was left was a short, natural curly pixie and to my surprise, I loved it. I felt free. I felt lighter. I felt like myself again.

That fresh start sent me down memory lane. I began thinking about the hair care era of the 80s and 90s, a time when salon visits were filled with care, conversation, and genuine connection. Healthy hair was the focus, not trends or upsells. Customer service was included in the experience. A shampoo was not an add on. It was an act of service.

Even the products back then felt different. They were made with simple, effective ingredients and were often recognized by their signature colors or fragrances that everyone could identify. I remember flipping through Hype Hair magazine, finding the latest style, bringing the picture to the salon, and trusting my stylist to bring it to life. There was trust. There was pride. There was joy in the process.

The B. Renewed 4- step system was inspired by that feeling and by the woman I became through my own hair journey.
